Welcome back to the Lunar Client Recap for August 2025! This month was packed with exciting updates like brand-new mods, new features to our Apollo Server API , and added a handy Skyblock garden tool to make your Hypixel adventures even better. There are plenty more updates we’ll cover below, let’s dive into the August Recap!

Support for All Latest Minecraft Versions

To start off, we worked on adding support for all Minecraft versions between 1.21.5 and 1.21.8. As a result, you now have the choice to use any of the latest Minecraft versions, giving you many options to choose from. With this change, you’ll be able to easily swap between versions whilst still retaining all of Lunar Client’s features as well as your mods and settings.

New Minecraft Mods

This month, we introduced two brand new Lunar Client mods, the Audio Subtitles mod and the Mob Size mod.

Audio Subtitles Mod

The Audio Subtitles mod adds advanced customization options for the vanilla audio subtitles feature. With the Audio Subtitles mod, you’ll be able to customize the color, size, shadow, and even move customize your audio subtitles’ location on your screen.

Mob Size Mod

The Mob Size mod allows you to customize the size of any Minecraft mob, including players. This is extremely helpful for those playing PVE gamemodes, such as Hypixel Skyblock or WynnCraft because it allows you to ensure that hordes of mobs don’t block your vision. Furthermore, you can also limit the mod to only work on Hypixel Skyblock, saving Skyblock players the hassle of having to manually disable the mod when playing other gamemodes on Minecraft.

Mod Improvements

Aside from adding new mods to Lunar Client, we also worked on adding a variety of improvements to our existing mods.

Nametag Mod

In our Nametag mod, we added the ability to hide nametags while in F1. We also added a brand new keybind that allows you to hide only player nametags. On top of this, you can now override the color of your own nametag, allowing you to customize its color to your liking—including adding a colorful chroma effect!

Tab Editor Mod

Within our Tab Editor mod, we implemented a new option allowing you to force yourself into the first slot of your Tab list. Furthermore, you can now highlight your own username on the Tab list so that you can easily find your name while playing on busy servers or worlds.

Skyblock Mod

This month, we added a very useful feature inside the Hypixel Skyblock mod for our garden farmers. Open the SkyBlock Mod and then click on Garden Pests. You’ll notice a brand new Teleport To Pest option, with the ability to add a keybind. This feature allows you to press a single button on your keyboard and automatically be teleported to whichever plot in your garden the pest is at. This drastically reduces the amount of time you have to spend typing out the command to teleport to the garden plot, and should make pest farming a lot quicker.

This feature joins a plethora of SkyBlock Mod Improvements the team has been working on over the past few months. Quality of Life Changes

We also made a few smaller quality of life changes to Lunar Client this month. Starting off, inside the cosmetics locker, you can now see a new tooltip containing information about cosmetics that were gifted to you. This tooltip will show who gifted the cosmetic, when it was gifted, as well as if the gifter left a message when the cosmetic was gifted. Additionally, we also added a button inside the resourcepacks menu linking you to https://resourcepacks.gg so that you can easily find and download new Minecraft resource packs.

Outplayed Partnership

Another exciting development this month is our brand new partnership with Outplayed. If you aren’t aware, Outplayed is the ultimate video capturing app for gamers, allowing you to record all of your moments and share them with others on the fly. As part of the partnership, users that download Outplayed are able to obtain a free Grim Clipper pet on Lunar Client. To claim the Grim Clipper pet, simply click the Outplayed skull icon at the top right of the Lunar Client Launcher. Apollo Server API

Within our Apollo Server API, we implemented some new GUI tools for server developers to play around with. This includes the ability to hide tooltips as well as slot highlighting in certain menus. These new tools allow for cleaner GUIs, such as server or world navigation menus. This is especially helpful for servers utilizing custom resource packs for their inventory GUIs.
