Welcome back to the 16th Lunar Client recap for July 2025. This month, we have a ton of exciting updates to share, including Badlion integration, some exciting new partnerships, major Skyblock Mod updates, and much more. Now, let’s dive into what we’ve been doing this month.
You can also check out this month’s Lunar Client recap video below!
Badlion Client Integration
One of the major new features we worked on this month was the integration of Badlion Client into the Lunar Client Launcher. Now, you can seamlessly switch between launching both Badlion Client and Lunar Client right from the Lunar Client Launcher.

To launch Badlion Client, ensure that you have Badlion Services enabled from Lunar Client’s Launcher settings. If you're unsure on how check out our blog here. Once you’ve enabled this, you’ll see a brand new Badlion tab on the left side of the Lunar Client Launcher. From this new section, you’ll be able to select your Badlion version as well as an add-on. You can also modify Badlion Client’s launch settings directly from Lunar Client’s Launcher settings by pressing the cog at the bottom left and then selecting the Badlion tab. Here, you’ll be able to modify your Discord Rich Presence options, as well as some performance, and debug options. So if you’ve never used Badlion Client before, now is your chance to give it a try!

Mod Improvements
This month we've focused on improving various existing mods within Lunar Client. As a result, we’ve added many new options and quality of life features to some of our most popular mods, the Keystrokes, Toggle Sprint, and Armor Status mods.
Keystrokes Mod
Within our Keystrokes Mod, we worked on expanding our customization options. Specifically, we added new animation types, the ability to customize duration, color, and timing. Furthermore, you can also now add any key to the mod, a feature that is useful for those who may use non-standard keybind setups when playing. Finally, we now allow users to freely move around the different keys on their HUD so that the mod’s HUD can be arranged in almost any way.

Toggle Sprint Mod
We added a new Icon Only mode, which displays an icon that represents sprinting, walking, flying, and sneaking instead of having text that depicts these actions, making for a cleaner HUD. We also added the ability to customize the text for flying, sneaking, and sprinting on your HUD. Additionally, we added the ability to override sprinting and sneaking keybinds, which was a highly requested feature from Badlion Client. Now, you’ll be able to set specific keybinds for toggling sprinting and sneaking whilst keeping your vanilla keybind for the regular action.

Armor Status
Finally, inside our Armor Status mod, we implemented a feature that allows users to move the position of the armor durability or hide it entirely. Also within the Armor Status mod, we added an option to show Armor Toughness alongside the Protection HUD.
Language Selector Revamp
This month, we also worked on revamping the UI of our Language Selector in accordance with our ongoing work to revamp all in-game menus. Now, whenever you open Lunar Client’s Language Selector, you’ll be met with a flashy new UI that is much easier to navigate than the previous UI.
There’s also a new Language Selection settings menu accessed by the gear icon at the top right. As of now, the settings page only allows you to Force Unicode; however, stay tuned for more options that may come in the future.

Screenshot Uploader Mod UI and Options
Whilst we’re on the topic of new UI, we’ve also added a brand new menu that allows you to customize certain options pertaining to your screenshots when they are uploaded to lunr.pics. The menu can be accessed by pressing the Upload button in chat after you’ve taken a screenshot. From this new menu, you’ll be able to customize the title of your screenshot as well as who is able to view it.
Inside the Screenshot Uploader mod’s settings is also a new option that allows you to prevent world details (such as coordinates) from being shown on lunr.pics. This is very useful for those playing on Factions or Anarchy servers, where it is important not to give away location details.

New BetterMap for Hypixel Skyblock
We also released the new BetterMap feature for our SkyBlock mod, a massive improvement to our existing Dungeon Map overlay.
Starting off, you’ll notice a visual improvement to the map itself, as well as a timeline slider whenever you open chat, which allows you to skim through your current run and see where everyone went, as well as room completions. On top of this, you can also see information about any given room of the map, such as the name, type, number of secrets, who cleared it, and who was last inside of it. This works by just hovering over a room, but it’ll also display for whatever room you’re currently in. You’re also able to switch between the regular map and boss map with our new tabs, after you enter the boss room. Heading into the settings for the map, you can now customize just about any feature to your heart’s content. From map rotation, to score info, and even what tick you want to appear on the map itself, you’ll be able to fully make this map work in a way that’s best for your runs. On top of this, there’s also the ability to have a secondary map displayed as well, which is perfect for sweats who enjoy playing with multiple maps.
Furthermore, we have a brand new Spirit Leap menu, which lets you customize the menu that’s displayed, as well as currently having two different modes, so you can pick which combination you like best. This menu should make leaping to specific roles much faster, and save you time from having to think about who’s playing which role.

Twitch Linking
This month, we’ve added a new option allowing users to link their Twitch account to Lunar Client, alongside our existing linking options for Discord and Twitter. You can link your Twitch account by launching Lunar Client and then pressing the link button at the top left next to the account switcher. This new feature comes in tandem with some of our new partnerships with Jakura and Lifesteal SMP, which we will describe in the next section of this article.
Jakura and Lifesteal SMP Partnerships
July was a huge month for Lunar Client in terms of partnerships. We made some of our largest partnerships this month, with JasontheWeen and Sakura, two well-known Twitch streamers, as well as with Lifesteal SMP, the largest private Minecraft SMP containing many popular Minecraft YouTubers and streamers. These partnerships featured various exclusive cosmetics and even some free ones that will no longer be obtainable.
We combined the Jakura partnership with our new Twitch linking feature, asking users to link their Twitch account to Lunar Client to receive free cosmetics associated with Jakura during the partnership.

Gift Gauntlet
With our summer vault sale and first ever Gift Gauntlet coming to a close, we wanted to provide you with some updates on how the event went. The Gift Gauntlet was a massive success with over 750 different competitors vying to win a top spot on the leaderboard. We also decided to feature our Shadow Fox Pet because it reached over 30 gifts. Finally, we want to stress not to worry if you missed out on this summer’s Gift Gauntlet as it will be returning for our Christmas Vault Sale in December.

Also, in case you’re unaware, our Gift Gauntlet is a bi-annual event where players compete against each other by gifting cosmetics to others. The players that gift the most cosmetics earn exclusive rewards, such as 1-of-1 Cosmetics designed by you, exclusive wings, cloaks, and so much more.
