Welcome to the Lunar Client March Recap. This month has been a big one for Lunar Client, bringing you some pretty sweet changes and improvements. Without further ado, let’s jump right into our biggest announcement for the month.
Check out this month’s Lunar Client Recap video below!
Lunar Client x Badlion Client
Lunar Client and Badlion Client are officially both owned by Moonsworth. This means that the best developers the game has to offer, will be working together to give you the best possible experience. While we don’t have too much to share regarding what will be changing between the two, our team has already begun working on some parity updates between the two clients.

1.7 Animations
Our 1.7 Animations mod is now nearly identical to the way 1.7 Animations work on Badlion, which is the main reason why it was assumed Badlion had better hit registration. This update allows you to toggle whether you want your sword the “Always Swing”, even while your hits are being delayed. This change gives you the feeling that you're swinging more.
Motion Blur
We’ve also added a new type of Motion Blur, which should feel a lot smoother than our previous two. This feature is much more noticeable on higher refresh rate monitors, but players without should still notice a visual improvement over the other two.
Launch Time Improvements
We released two major improvements to the game’s launch speeds. Combined, these improvements both affect times from just in-game, as well as going from being in the Launcher to the game being fully open and ready to play. We’re excited to see how these improvements impact the speeds for all of our players.

Apollo Inventory Module
We just released our brand new Inventory Module for Apollo, which gives server owners even more control and flexibility when it comes to designing in-game inventory GUIs. This module introduces the ability to apply custom NBT tags to items, allowing you to define how users interact with them when they’re clicked.

This includes allowing the users to copy-to-clipboard, open URLs directly, suggest commands in chat, and even make items completely unclickable. To learn more about how these NBT Tags work, and to get started using Apollo, just head over to our Developer Documentation Site, and expand your server’s capabilities with Lunar Client.
Client Updates
During this month, we’ve made a couple of updates to our built-in mods and something new for our cosmetics.
Support for Minecraft 1.21.5
We were able to add Day 1 support for Minecraft 1.21.5, as well as the ability to host a world for your friends on this version, completely for free. This means that you're able to play with all the new changes, including the brand new animal variants, and ambient features!
Time Passage Speed
We added a feature to our Time Changer Mod, allowing you to customize the speed at which time moves for you. So, if you’ve ever wanted the days and nights to fly by, that’s now finally possible. We’ve also implemented the Time Changer Mod to display a proper day-night cycle when changing the time in your world.

Bedwars Level-Head
Using Lunar Client’s Level-Head feature, you can now enable the option to use the Bedwars Star Format for Level-Head. With this feature enabled, the star level above players’ heads will be identical to the way they are displayed in-game, including the color.
First-Person Cosmetics
We’ve got quite a bit of news regarding our cosmetics, we’ve added the ability to view suits and wristwear cosmetics when you’re in first-person. So now, you can wear your favorite cosmetics without having to view them in a 3rd-person perspective. Speaking of wristwear…

Wristwear is a brand new type of cosmetic, which, as you probably guessed, are cosmetics that go over your hand. Our first release of these cosmetics features 4 new watches, which you’re able to see in First Person, and you can even swap which arm they are attached to.
Store Changes
Our store has also received a couple updates, including the ability to search for any cosmetic that’s currently available, as well as an “I’m feeling lucky” button, which will bring you to a random cosmetic to give you some inspiration for some outfits.
St Patrick’s Collection
Not only that, but we released our St. Patrick’s Collection, which features our very first Balloon for our Wristwear Cosmetics, as well as 12 new cloaks, 4 new pets, 2 new auras, wings, and suits, and a brand new top hat.
